Earthwalks

For 9-90 year olds in any natural area, an EARTHWALK is a light, refreshing way of getting in touch with nature. The emphasis is upon reawakening individual senses and sharpening perceptions.

Published in a card and binder format, each packet contains ten activities, plus two hour-long model walks, written in a "you are there" style.

Each EARTHWALK packet includes the activity cards, introductory material, leader guidelines, and detailed notes on how to put the walk together.

EARTH MAGIC
Activity Set (and binder)

A set of EARTHWALK activities for a sensory encounter with the natural world. This set includes the sturdy EARTHWALKS Binder for storing all of your activity sets.

SNOW WALK
Activity Set (w/o binder)

A set of EARTHWALK activities for a sensory experience in winter. However, half of these activities can be used in any season, including our most popular Earthwalk activity, "Eye in the Sky."

What They're Saying About EARTHWALKS:

When I taught Intro to Natural Science at the University of Michigan, the first "lecture" was an Earthwalk. Imagine 38 young adults at their first university lecture having "Whiff" parties and doing "Windancers." We had a wonderful semester... and when they graduated the one chosen to speak at commencement thanked me for getting them in touch with what really matters.
